Penn Vet says construction has begun on a 63,000-square-foot veterinary diagnostic laboratory at New Bolton Center. The $94 million facility is expected to be completed in 2028, with laboratories moving in during 2029.

The County’s 2026 schedule lists 7 p.m. closing through October 18, 6:30 p.m. October 19–31, and 5 p.m. November 1–December 31. These are county park hours; the regional trails have a separate sunrise/sunset schedule. Weather and special events can affect access.
